On September 5, 2018, OVBC promoted an NW Business Forum examining the economic benefit of technology parks. The program treated development as productive infrastructure rather than civic decoration.
What a Technology Park Produces
A functioning research campus can concentrate skilled employment, laboratories, suppliers, services, investment, and demand. Its value is not the sign at its entrance. Its value is the work performed inside and the secondary commerce that work supports.
Public enthusiasm is not an economic result. A project earns support according to the jobs, knowledge, trade, and durable private activity it makes possible. OVBC gave owners a forum in which those claims could be examined.
